The Spark separator reduces the risk of fire and extends the life of the filter in a suction system in the metal industry. The VDL Spark separator prevents sparks, splashes and glowing particles from entering the filter and causing a fire. This reduces the risk of
fire in the filter caused by external ignition sources to almost 100%.

Available in connection sizes:

Ø 80 mm - 800 mm

Dust and sparks will be separated

and removed via a drop tube

Body, impeller and suction tube made of 1.5 mm thick sheet steel

(external RAL 3020)

Main line connections with flanges for pull ring connections (up to Ø 630 mm)

or welded flanges according DIN24154, T2 (from Ø 710 mm)

Maximum air speed:

20 m/s

Pressure loss:

approximately 900-1000 Pa (at 20 m/s)
